The following is a complete listing of the tombstones in the Edward Minshew Cemetery in Greene County, NC.

Location off SR 1253 behind a house now owned by the Whichard family. From Highway 58N, turn onto Pope Farm Road (SR 1253). There will be a large house. The cemetery is behind the house that is behind the larger house. This land was formerly owned by the Edmundson families. According to the current owner, at one time, there was a large grist mill operation with large stables on this land.

    Wm H Edmundson Born August 25th, 1922, Died June 27th, 1878, Aged 55 Ys, 10 Mos, 2Ds Lydia J Edmundson Nov 14, 1831 May 15, 1915 (Lydia’s maiden name was Minshew) In Memory of My Brother Isaac Minshew Son of John & Mary Minshew, Born Oct. 3rd, 1829, Died April 16th, 1858 Aged 28 Years, 6 Mo. & 13 Days (brother to Lydia Minshew Edmundson) Mattie C Edmundson Born June 10 1860 Died Sept 12, 1881 Aged 21 years, 2 mo’s & 2 days (Mattie was the daughter of William H and Lydia Edmundson)
