It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that GEHAZI BIRTT, one of the
defendants in this case, resides beyond the limits of this State, it is
therefore ordered that publication be made in the North Carlina weekly
Standard for six weeks, notifying the said defendent to be and appear at the
next term of said Court of Equity to be held for the County of Greene, at the
Court House in Snow Hill, on the first Monday of October next, then and there
to plead, answer or demur to the said Bill, or the same will be set for
hearing and a decree pro confesso taken as to them.
Witness, J. A. EDWARDS, Clerk and Master of said Court, at Snow Hill, the
second Monday after the fourth Monday in September, 1861.
