I am researching anything on MCARTHUR and HEIDLEBERG families.
Charles MCARTHUR son of Daniel MCARTHUR and Sarah ? married Martha Ann
HEIDLEBERG daughter of Samuel T. HEIDLEBERG and Nancy ? in 1848 in
Greene County.  Martha was born in 1829.  Charles born in 1822.
Charles and Martha later moved into Lenoir County and are buried
there.

MOORING of Dobbs and Greene:

John MOORING, the immigrant ancestor, who lived in Surry County, Virginia, came 
from Devon County, England.  He and his son, Christopher MOORING I, still owned 
land in Devon.  This MOORING Family is well documented for generations in The 
Visitations of Devon.  A copy of the book may be found in the Library of Congress in 
Washington, DC.
